The World Second Best Spring

　　Huishan has many springs, among which the most famous is the World Second Best Spring. In May 2006, it was included by the State Council in state priority protected sites.

　　Huishan Spring was built in the late Dali period of the Tang dynasty (779). The spring water is pure and sweet, enjoying a history of more than 1,200 years. In the Song dynasty, Emperor Huizhong designated the spring water a tribute.

　　Moonlight on the Second Best Spring, a famous Erhu music by Wuxi folk musician Hua Yanjun, originated from this spring.
